GitOps Primer is an operator that runs in your OpenShift cluster that gives the ability for developers to export all Kubernetes objects within a namespace producing a portable zip file that can be easily taken to another cluster or shared with other developers/team members or pushed into Git enabling GitOps workflows and tooling for your application using ArgoCD or Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes (RHACM).
It is now available as Dev Preview starting in OpenShift 4.9 Developer Console and once the operator is installed in an OpenShift cluster a button becomes available within the console giving the ability to export and download all objects in your namespace. The Konveyor Crane library is used to perform the transformation and export of the objects. Try it out here.
